Affilated Societies

Affiliated Societies are any not-for-profit local, regional, or national organization interested in physics. They are elected by the AIP Governing Board.

Benefits

Individual members of Affiliated Societies may subscribe at member rates to AIP-owned journals or those journals of AIP Member Societies that AIP fulfills. Please visit our rate brochure for further information.

Magazines published by AIP can also be obtained for reduced prices. Affiliated Society members may subscribe (for Year-2004) to: Physics Today for $59 and to Computing in Science & Engineering (CiSE) for $43. Subscriptions for individuals who are not members are $69 and $73, respectively.

Substantial member discounts apply to the archival Journals published by AIP and its Member Societies.

Principal benefits are: opportunities for information exchange, invitations to our annual Assembly of Society Officers, reports from AIP on education and employment statistics.
